US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee Hearing on COVID Testing lacks creativity

The US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee HEaring today on COVID-19 Testing lacked any sort of creativity in its approach to coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 testing. Although the expert witnesses were outstanding, Dr. Fauci from NIH, Dr. Redfield from CDC, Dr. Hahn from FDA, and Dr. GIroir from HHS were are direct and forthwright in their testimony, I only heard linear thinking and a brute force approach to scaling COVID testing for the nation.

This approach is neither affordable nor scalable, and won’t lead to restored economic activity and consumer confidence. We must do more. I am actively writing a white paper on the subject to interject more creativity into the subject.
